My Village Campaign at Trapaing Anhchanh Primary School

Another Hand Washing and Hygiene event was held on July 21 organizeed by HFH Cambodia in partnership with Krousay Yoeng Organization. The event under the My Village Campaign, was conducted in Trapaing Anhchanh Primary School located in the Trapaing Anhchanh Community and was attended by 112 community people including students, teachers, parents, and community leaders.

The campaign is another effort to educate and encourage people to appreciate the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene and environmental sanitation by helping each other to keep their community clean and taking on hygienic practices.

The event will e supported with a series of succeeding events to ensure that people around the community are consistently involved in the campaign, the follow-up hand washing and hygiene sessions will take place every Thursday in August.

“It is a good campaign because people from my community can live healthier lives in healthier environment. I’m happy to see all the children, parents and teachers’ positive and active engagement in this program ” Mr. Hang Saroeun, the Community Leader in Trapaing Anhchanh said during the campaign.
